Also known as Devon Boyd, Cysum doesn’t just make beats—he composes audible art that takes listeners on a journey. As a passionate creator and producer, Cysum witnessed a shift in the music industry—away from the community-driven roots he grew up on. Inspired to bring back the culture of “putting people on,” a core part of traditional DJing, he stepped behind the decks himself. As a DJ/producer, Cysum now curates experiences with fresh sounds, introducing audiences to his own work and spotlighting undiscovered artists from around the globe.

 

In 2023, he was selected as an official SXSW DJ/Artist for the first time—and has been invited back for both 2024 and 2025. With every set and every release, Cysum continues to push boundaries, share vibes, and shift the culture forward.
